Folio Prize, 2015

This month it’s the Folio Society’s Folio Prize. “The Folio Prize is the first major English Language book prize open to writer’s from around the world.” Not only does this literary prize show that the arts isn’t constrained by boundaries, it is a worldwide form, but also celebrates the best fiction encompassing any form or genre, and “brings it to the attention of as many readers as possible.” (The Folio Prize Website)

According to Foyles, the “2015 award is judged by William Fiennes, Mohsin Hamid, Deborah Levy and A M Homes. The 80 books nominated for the 2015 prize were announced on 15th December 2014.” The shortlist found below was released on 9th February:
